Position Description
As a Lead Technician in our Stall Build area with Fontaine Modification, you can expect to be a part of some of the most innovative, and unique, modifications in the industry. The stall build team is responsible for unique modifications to Heavy trucks, this requires a problem solving mindset and a collaborative effort throughout the team.

Position Requirements
- Effectively manage the Stall Build team including adhering to Safety procedures, Quality standards, and reaching daily/weekly/monthly departmental goals. This will also include scheduling, coaching, performance evaluations, and training.
- Personal and team commitment to facility 5S program
- Print work orders and implement effectively
- Achieve daily, weekly, monthly production goals (identify gap to target)
- Monitor schedule for changes, and request schedule changes to help flow or timing of production
- Actively participate in facility initiatives to include: 8D problem solving, Lean, 5S, Safety Committee, and others
- Review SFM for accurate production status / entries
- Communicate with outside vendors as it pertains to specific mods: EZ Trac, Telma, Etc
Qualifications
- Automobile or truck mechanic skills (heavy duty trucks highly preferred
- Strong ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments
- Ability to work 40- hour weeks plus overtime, if required.
- Tools including impact wrench and drill or ability to acquire tools after 90 days of employment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of post offer background check, drug screening, and physical evaluation
- Basic computer experience: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SFM
- High level working knowledge of applicable modifications
- Attention to detail
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Commercial Drivers License preferred, but not required
