Fontaine Modification Names Tim Vitt Central Region Sales Manager
Hiring completes Medium & Heavy Truck Operations regional sales team
CHARLOTTE, NC (May 18, 2023) – Fontaine Modification Medium & Heavy Truck Operations has expanded its regional sales team by adding Tim Vitt as central region sales manager. Vitt joins Carlos Francisco, western region sales manager, and Kevin Campbell, eastern region sales manager, to manage sales activities for North America’s most comprehensive, engineering-focused provider of post-production truck services.
Vitt brings more than 20 years of truck industry experience to his new position, including roles with Kenworth Truck Co. and Cummins Inc.

Vitt launched his career in 2000 at Cummins, where he rose through the ranks of service engineering to be named technical support manager. He was responsible for the service support of key heavy-duty fleets in a five-state territory, as well as technical support for distributors in the territory. In 2007, Kenworth tapped him to be a district manager responsible for dealer service support in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. He was then promoted to national fleet service manager for the eastern U.S. In 2013, Kenworth named him central region service manager. In that role, Vitt led all service support for 55 truck dealers and multiple large fleet customers in a region spanning Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
His extensive service experience gives Vitt a solid understanding of the systems and components used in heavy-duty trucks, enabling him to provide sound advice on modifications and upfits.

Vitt earned a bachelor’s degree in technology, majoring in automotive & diesel technology, from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. He is based in Kansas City.
